Additional Pictures of Tad Laird's Car

air jacks
Here are some updated pictures of Tad Laird's car which document some of the work he has done since the last round of modifications.
re-worked air inlet
What follows is Tad's description of the mods:
"Here's some more pics including aux fan mounts. In process of having bump steer adjustment fabricated here in Reno. Bill Harrah's ex- mechanic ala Harrah's Auto Collection does fabrications and he likes my car. He also does chassis set up for some Indy and Cart teams. So we are going to correct my bump steer first, then dig into some serious suspension tweaks. My car is going to go out with alot of sensors next time on the track."
euro-style auxillary fan
Tad goes on to summarize the mods:
Quick summary. Fluidyne Radiator combined oil/water exchanger.
Custom fabricated mounts for electric fan with rubber vibration dampers.
Airbox had to be moved over to allow for Fluidyne exchanger.

AP Racing air jacks with aluminum tubing. Release valves sit on top of each jack for quick and simultaneous lowering of car. Uses 250 psi Nitrogen bottle source.
U Hooks on rear subframe for easier tie down strap hook up.
Drive shaft hoop.
Raised and angled gear shift lever.
Quick release steering wheel.
