These photos come to us courtesy of David Pan. He went to inspect this car when it was for sale
in the U.S. back in the mid-90's. It is a late model DTM racecar, from the 1992 season and
originally prepared by BMW Motorsport.
Reportedly this car represents the last evolution of Motorsport DTM kit. The engine had 8 injectors and was capable of producing over 370HP. The car uses lightweight sheetmetal, which David said could be felt to flex on the rear quarter panels and the doors. The car is also fitted with a racing ABS system. This car was sold to a UK buyer in the 96/97 timeframe. |
