Here is Ivan's description of his car:
My e30, M3 2.3L "Europameister" was produced on October 31´st, 1988.
This special edition which was only produced in November, October 1988
and only in 148 pieces. It was a celebration of BMW´s racing
Champion Roberto Ravaglia´s victory of the German DTM 1988,
(DTM = Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft). The difference
towards the "normal" M3 was that it was handsigned by
Roberto Ravaglia, special paint only available in Macao Blue Metallic,
225/45 ZR 16 tires on 7,5J x 16 inches wheels, BMW-Motorsport-Package,
extended leather trim, power windows and aircondition. the Factory new
price in Germany was at that time DEM. 71.700,- around USD. 45.000,-
which was quite expensive in those days.
I have been informed by BMW Motorsport GmbH that on request and
the payment of USD 30,- they can issue a certificate on my M3 stating
the information I listed above and to which owner the car was sold the
first time. Here I know that the first owner was actual the BMW dealership
in Munich, Germany.
